website update
Just popping in on my phone to say that i had to step away from my pc today to see a close friend out of town but ill be back tomorrow (sunday) to try and finish setting up the new website and forums as promised. Next video is at the 10k mark so thanks again for getting us this far guys and it feels great to be finally getting back to work on this insane project!

This project needs more publicity! Try and contact TotalBiscuit! This is totally the sort of thing he would get behind, and he has a huge following.

Actually I've already been trying to get acknowledgement from Total Biscuit but still haven't gotten a response unfortunately. Perhaps.. If some hardcore fans felt like helping me annoy TB and Yogscast...? ;)
Already done mate, as well as numerous other famous gamers ad youtube channels. Unfortunately, for whatever reason they either don't see it through spam or ignore it altogether. maybe sending in a handwritten letter would give better results?

I'm watching you "Why I Don't Take Requests" video as e speak, and I may reiterate my comments that I left on that video.
Basically, I'm not a bleeding heart. I just want to tell you about a game-in development and it's your choice whether you should cover it or not. I just want to tell you about it, because you may not know of it or that there are many people out there that want it to succeed, and I think it deserves your excellent press coverage and scrutiny. We both know that the industry, and specifically MMORPGS are in a content crisis at this moment and that we need better developers with better philosophy on the games they are making. We also both know, that Mainstream gaming press is complete shite! They suck up to the big developers, and give little or bad critical analysis. Indie press like yourself on Youtube, who have big followings may be the only avenue for publicity of good upcoming games that could sink into obscurity unless they're thrown into the public square.
I believe Divergence Online will be one of those gems in the rough in the sea of awful content. It is in pre-alpha and has been in dev since 2005 (I believe), mainly by one man, Ethan Casner. He is running an IndeGoGo campaign at the moment to get funding to hire a proper team to finish the game with him, and it's in it's 44th day.

You mentioned in your 'Requests' video about shining your spot-light on games no one has never heard of. I commend you for taking that stance, and I hope you'll check out Divergence Online and may be do a video one day on it (maybe when it's in Alpha or Beta).
I'm not trying to tell you what to do TB, I hope you maintain your independence and do what you want. That's what I like, and that's what you should be doing, but I hope you at least check out Divergence Online and make a decision for yourself as to whether you should cover it or not.
